BetHog Closes Crypto Casino on July 30 to Focus on AI Dealer Tech

BetHog will shut down its crypto casino and sportsbook operations on July 30. The company is redirecting all resources toward its B2B division, Sentient Studios, following increased market interest in AI dealer solutions.

Strategic Reallocation

Management made the decision after observing consistent operator demand for Sentient Studios technology. The division develops artificial intelligence dealer systems for online gaming platforms. BetHog will now operate exclusively as a business-to-business provider rather than maintaining a consumer-facing casino.

CEO Nigel Eccles, who previously co-founded FanDuel, confirmed the pivot in an interview with Gambling Insider. The leadership team determined that concentrating on enterprise software delivery aligns with current industry requirements. All development and support efforts will now target the B2B segment.
